VeriFinger is a fingerprint identification technology for biometric system developers that provides fast and reliable 1-to-1 and 1-to-many fingerprint matching, available as a software development kit on Microsoft Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS platforms, and Android for standalone and networked solutions.

VeriFinger 13.0 Standard SDK - 339 euros.

    Comparison of various prints

    The VeriFinger algorithm matches flat-to-rolled, flat-to-flat or rolled-to-rolled fingerprints with a high degree of reliability and accuracy, as it is tolerant to fingerprint deformations. Rolled fingerprints have much bigger deformation due to the specific scanning technique (rolling from nail to nail) than those scanned using the "flat" technique. Conventional "flat" fingerprint identification algorithms usually perform matching between flat and rolled fingerprints less reliably due to the mentioned deformations of rolled fingerprints.

    Resistant to fingerprints, rotation and deformation

    VeriFinger's proprietary fingerprint pattern matching algorithm is able to identify fingerprints even if they are rotated, translated, deformed, and have only 5-7 similar details (typically a single fingerprint has 20-40 similar details) and matches up to 40,000 flat fingerprints per second. In addition, the matching algorithm has a special mode for matching different scale fingerprint records, as well as optional mirror fingerprint matching.

    MINEX evaluations by NIST
    Поточне оцінювання MINEX було успішно пройдено в 2014 році. Було досягнуто друге місце в рейтингу Ongoing MINEX за алгоритмами зіставлення відбитків пальців. Алгоритм VeriFinger як частина технології MegaMatcher був визнаний NIST як повністю сумісний з MINEX.
